Conflicts in 2R

1. How We Did the Survey:
We went to the 2R classroom and asked which conflict was most popular in 2R. The options were, Bullying, Back-forth arguments, Taking other people's things, Not letting other people do it, and Others.

1.What are the main things you understood from this unit?
I understood how it becomes to a conflict and how to solve the conflict.
  1. List some ways that people alleviate stress?
People can do things they like, for example running, watch movies, sleep, or play games.People can go outside, or take a deep breath too.
  1. Why is it important to be in control of your feelings?
If you don’t, you might do an action that you never thought of before, and it can be a bigger conflict too. You can lose your friends too.
  1. Why is it important for you to be able name and claim your feelings?
If you don’t claim your feelings, the other people won’t understand your feelings so, it won’t get solved.
  1. What advice would you give to a friend in a conflict situation?
I would to tell what they should do now, for example, I will tell the examples of how you can solve conflicts in different ways.
  1. What advice would you give a child just beginning to use social networking sites on computers about responsibility and safety?
I would say to be careful and remember to ask an adult if it is ok or not and never do sites if an adult says no.
7.When you find yourself in an unfair situation, what are some of the ways you can deal with it? (List positive ways and negative ways).
I can say my feelings and say it is unfair and the reason.
+- They might agree and stop. -- They might not agree and won’t stop.
I can say to an adult or friend you can trust and on your side.
+- They might help me, for example give advices. -- They might not help and say to solve it myself.
8.What do you think is the most important thing we should teach Grade 4’s next year about peace and conflict?
You are not alone and other people can help you too.
